We build one workspace for the whole law firm.

Esqase is practice management software for solo practitioners and small to mid-size law firms. Intake, matters, billing, and trust accounting run in one connected workspace, so legal teams practice law instead of stitching tools together.

What Esqase is

Explore the product

What we do

Practice management software for law firms

One connected workspace for intake, matters, tasks, time and billing, IOLTA trust accounting, documents, and eSignature.

Included

The full workspace, no add-ons.

Trial

Fourteen days of full access, one per firm.

The problem

Firms pay for tools that do not connect

Firms either pay premium tiers to unlock basic features, or run the practice on spreadsheets, email threads, and standalone tools that were never built to talk to each other.

Before Esqase

Three subscriptions, none of them connected.

With Esqase

One workspace, one login, one bill.

Who it is for

Solo practitioners and small to mid-size firms

Firms that want one system for the whole engagement, ready to use on day one.

Firm size

Solo practitioners up to growing teams.

Ready on day one

No rollout project, no setup fees.

What we're building

We are building one workspace that carries a firm's work from the first inquiry to the final invoice. Every screen below is the product itself, shown with sample data.

The Matters list in Esqase, showing each matter's number and title, clients, assignees, and practice area.

Matters

Each matter with its client, team, and practice area.

The Tasks list in Esqase, showing due dates, task names, stages, priorities, and assignees.

Tasks

Due dates, stages, and priorities across every matter.

The For signature tab in Esqase Documents, listing documents sent for signature with their signers and status.

eSignature

Documents out for signature, and where each one stands.

The Invoices page in Esqase, with billed, paid, outstanding, and overdue totals above the list of invoices.

Invoices

Billed, paid, and overdue totals above every invoice.

The three-way reconciliation report in Esqase, comparing the bank statement, the book balance, and the sum of client ledgers for an IOLTA account.

Trust accounting

Three-way reconciliation of bank, book, and client ledgers.

It started with one lawyer's problem.

Esqase started with a friend, a lawyer who wanted one place to run their practice: take the intake, work the matter, send the bill. Anything that did all three was built for bigger firms.

A bridge walkway running toward the far tower

One place, without the overhead

The simpler tools each covered a slice, so they paid for three, then paid again to connect them. They wanted one system, from the first call to the last invoice, ready on the first day.

The team behind Esqase

The two of us started Esqase to build that one place, and we still run it together. Every new feature gets the same test: does it make the day simpler for a practice that size?

What we believe

Clarity over clutter

Software should make the next step obvious. Every screen is built to remove friction, not to add it.

One source of truth

A detail captured once should reach everywhere it is needed, so nothing is duplicated or lost.

Trust by design

Client data and client funds are handled with care: encrypted in transit, sensitive data encrypted at rest.
