Track every application, filing date, and document.
An immigration practice runs on paperwork and dates. Esqase opens each case type from its own template with the filing checklist attached, and keeps priority dates on the record.
Every case type opens with its filing checklist
A family petition and a work visa need different steps. Build a task list for each, dated from the matter's open date, attach it to that case type's template, and the dates land on the calendar.
Track the case number and the priority date as custom fields, and a matter template puts them on every new file of that type.

Get the documents from the client
An intake form asks for exactly what a filing needs. A client fills it in from a phone with no account, the files land in the Documents folder you picked, and the letter starts from your template.

Does Esqase track filing deadlines and priority dates for me?
Esqase does not calculate deadlines from immigration regulations or the visa bulletin. You set the dates, typically a custom field for a priority date and tasks for filing deadlines, and Esqase then tracks them and shows them on the firm calendar.
Can a filing checklist repeat for every case of that type?
Yes. Build a task list template with the steps a case type always needs and due dates set relative to the matter's open date, then attach it to a matter template so every new filing in that category opens with the same checklist running.
How does a client send us their documents?
Through an intake form built around exactly what the filing needs. A client submits from any device, with no account or password. The answers arrive on the lead and contact the submission created, and each uploaded file is saved into the Documents folder you set on the question.
Can we track case numbers and priority dates on the matter?
Yes, with custom fields. Add the fields your practice tracks, case number, priority date, visa category, and put them on a matter template so every new file of that type opens with them ready to fill in.
How much of a cover letter or declaration can I reuse?
All of the wording. Save it as a template with placeholders for the client and case details, then fill each one in once on the new draft and every place it appears updates with it, while the template keeps its blanks for the next case.
Can we move existing immigration cases into Esqase?
Yes. Import contacts and matters in bulk from a CSV export of whatever you used before, pasted into the template Esqase builds for your firm, so case history moves with you.
