Draft it, file it, and find it when a family needs it.
An estate plan is read once and then has to be found years later. Draft wills, trusts, and directives from your own templates, and Esqase files every version against the client.
Draft it from a template you trust
A will, a trust, or a directive should read the same way whoever drafts it. Write it from your own template, type the client and beneficiaries once, and file every version against the matter.
Track beneficiaries, executors, and successor trustees as their own contacts, linked to the plan they are named in.

Autosave, versions you can restore, and page setup.
Filed against the matter
Every version organized by the client and the plan.
Sign it, share it, and find it later
An engagement letter still needs a signature, and a plan has to surface years later. Send it for signature by link, share a copy with a co-trustee, and search a file by what is inside it.

Signing, templates, beneficiaries, sharing, and finding a plan.
Can wills and trusts be signed electronically in Esqase?
Esqase collects a standard electronic signature on a PDF: each signer accepts a consent statement written for your firm's country, and the finished file carries a Certificate of Completion recording who signed, when, and from where. Wills and certain other testamentary documents often carry separate execution requirements, witnesses, notarization, or a wet-ink signature, that vary by jurisdiction, so confirm what yours requires.
Can a will or trust template fill in the client details?
Save it once with placeholders for the client, the beneficiaries, and the assets, then fill each one in on the new draft and every place it appears updates with it, while the template keeps its blanks for the next plan.
How do we track beneficiaries and successor trustees?
Add them as contacts and link them to the matter, so the people named in a plan are on file the same way a client is, searchable and reusable across other plans they are named in.
How does a family find the plan years later?
The plan is filed against the client's matter, with every version kept, and search reads what is inside a document as well as its name while your firm keeps AI document indexing on, so you can find the current version even if nobody remembers what it was called.
Can we share a copy of the plan with a co-trustee?
Share a link instead of an emailed copy. Choose whether they can view, download, or comment, set when the link expires, and revoke it whenever you want. Download the finished plan as a PDF first, because a shared rich-text document still shows its blanks as placeholder tokens.
Can we track the assets and beneficiaries a plan covers?
Custom fields let you record the details specific to estate planning, assets, beneficiaries, successor trustees, right on the matter, instead of in a separate spreadsheet nobody else can find.
