Sign the caller, track the date, account for every cost.
On contingency, the fastest callback signs the case. Esqase captures every injury call as a lead, opens the matter with its checklist running, and holds the recovery in trust.
The clock starts the moment the case opens
The statute date does not care how busy intake was that week. A lead brings its contact across as the client, and a matter template opens the case already staffed, checklisted, and dated.
Screen the client, the insurer, and the other driver against your contacts. A high-priority match has to be acknowledged before the matter saves.

Task lists and templates
A deadline checklist that runs from intake to demand.
Account for every cost before the recovery is split
A recovery splits between the fee, the case costs, the liens, and the client. That works only if each cost was logged when it happened, and the money sat in trust until it was paid out.
Personal injury settlements
Split the recovery between fee, costs, and client on the Professional plan.

Deadlines, settlement money, intake, costs, and migration.
Can Esqase track statute of limitations deadlines?
The matter carries a statute of limitations date you set when you open it, and it stays visible there until you mark it satisfied. Set reminders on that date and Esqase sends one as each falls due. For the work leading up to it, add the steps as tasks, and every task with a due date appears on the firm calendar.
How does Esqase handle settlement funds?
Settlement money sits in a trust or IOLTA account, separate from operating funds, with a per-client ledger behind the pooled balance. It leaves as a recorded disbursement, a transfer between trust accounts, or a trust-transfer payment against an invoice, and a payout that would take that client's ledger below zero is refused.
Can an injured client submit their details online?
Yes. A client fills in a secure intake form from any device, with no account or password, and the accident details arrive on the lead ready to work.
Can I move my existing injury cases into Esqase?
Yes. Import contacts and matters in bulk from a CSV export of whatever you used before, pasted into the template Esqase builds for your firm, so open files move with you.
Can we track case costs so nothing is missed at settlement?
Log every cost against the matter as it happens, records, filing fees, expert fees, and tick Advanced client cost on the ones your firm laid out for the client. On the Professional plan those are reimbursed out of the settlement rather than billed, so the list is already there instead of rebuilt from a folder of receipts.
How much of the demand package can I reuse?
All of the wording. Save it as a template with placeholders for the client, the insurer, the policy limits, and the claim number, then fill each one in once on the new draft and every place it appears updates with it. On the Professional plan, a draft started from a template inside the matter's folder also arrives with the damages and medical totals already in it.
